Strum Area Food Pantry

The Strum Area Food Pantry serves the Eleva-Strum school district and surrounding areas by providing non-perishable food items as well as bread, milk, eggs, and meat. Items are purchased from Feed My People, Robbe's, and Kwik Trip to supplement donations received from area businesses and individuals.

Do I need an ID or proof of residency to come to the food pantry?

No ID or proof of residency is required-bring yourself and box to carry your items.

Is there a lot of paperwork required?

No. All we need is your household composition by age group (under 18, 18-59, 60 or older).

How often can I come to the food pantry?

Households may come to the pantry twice per month.

I would like to donate food. What are the best items to donate?

  • Pancake or muffin mix that only requires water

  • Canned soups, pasta, and meat (i.e. tuna, chicken breast, ham)

  • Canned fruits and vegetables

  • Rice, pasta, and beans

  • Cereal

  • Baking supplies

  • Seasonings of all kinds

  • Meal kits that include all the ingredients

  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues)
